Good things come in threes – Regional Business Awards winners

Erina, October 2022

LEP Digital and its team have won three of 13 award categories in the 2022 Central Coast Regional Business Awards announced at the gala evening Friday 7 October at the Crowne Plaza, Terrigal.

It’s the first time that the Central Coast’s leading digital content marketing agency has held three finalist positions in the program, and the first time winning in three categories. They include Melinda McCrone, Digital Marketing Manager – Outstanding Employee, Laura Prael, Director – Outstanding Business Leader, and the LEP Digital team – Excellence in Small Business.

The Outstanding Employee Award recognises an inspirational employee who has demonstrated a passion for their role and a commitment to their workplace and the community.

“Working with the team at LEP Digital has allowed me to build on my strengths in a supportive, collaborative and flexible work environment,” said Melinda.

“I really enjoy working in partnership with each of our clients to deliver targeted and effective marketing campaigns and am honoured to have been recognised”.

The Outstanding Business Leader Award recognises an inspirational business leader aged 36 years or over who has demonstrated a commitment to their workplace, industry and the community through leadership, whilst providing mentorship to others.

“Being female-owned with a unique leadership style and business philosophy is what sets LEP Digital apart,” said Laura.

“I’m proud to lead with conscience and community spirit – prioritising my team’s needs and fostering an inclusive, flexible, and psychologically safe workplace.”

The award program, run by Business NSW (formerly known as NSW Business Chamber), recognises growth, entrepreneurship and business success. As one of the state’s most unique regions, the Central Coast continues to make a major contribution to the state’s economy through manufacturing, tourism, health, education, food processing and, more recently, professional and financial services.

The Excellence in Small Business Award recognises a business that has effectively driven growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies implemented to achieve business success and/or resilience.

“Being recognised in our region’s most prestigious business award program is rewarding and motivating for our team,” said Laura.

The last two years have been a challenge for all businesses but we have come through it with a strong team delivering exceptional results for our clients, and are thrilled to have won these awards.”

Entering in the awards provides an opportunity to reflect on the goals, strategies and vision that have shaped success and help drive future plans. Winning an award opens the door to new markets, grows professional networks, and highlights the important contribution that businesses and their people have contributed to NSW.

LEP Digital would like to congratulate all the 2022 Central Coast regional finalists many of whom have worked with the agency over the years. Winners of the regional business awards progress to the NSW State Business Awards on Friday 18 November at The Venue Alexandria.
